We live in a building in White Plains, NY that is affected by bedbugs. We've had several of these nasty parasites in our apartment over the past 9 months. 3 months ago my wife discovered this product, and purchased the 3 pound container that you see here. We started sprinkling it around our apartment: we did the perimeter baseboard, pulled up our area rugs and dusted the floorboards, and even put it between our box spring and mattress.
We've found bedbugs dried up around our apartment in the areas that we've treated, so it's successful as a treatment for bedbugs. The fact that it is pet-safe (you can feed it to your pets to de-worm them? crazy) gives us peace of mind about our cat stepping in it and washing her paws later.
If you put this down on your floors, be sure to have good ventilation. We didn't realize how long this powder would hang in the air when we first treated our bedroom: we did that at night, then had to quick get the Ionic Breeze into our room so we wouldn't sneeze all night.
Our exterminator didn't know about diatomaceous earth before he came to treat our apartment. I showed him this product and explained how it worked; he has now incorporated it into his arsenal of bedbug toxins.

i bought this product after reading the reviews on how it kills the bed bugs. i thought i need the 3 pound DE, because i wanted to apply it to my entire apartment. But i used one third of it and applied for entire aprtment each corner and all the walls and doors, under the BED, Bed frams, Cup boards, under the carpets, and also applied in my sofas.... it has been three weeks i bought the Product. I started sleeping on my BED again from the Next day after i applied it. No BUG Bites at all. I do inspect every day and they are long gone. i do a see a couple still struggling to come to my BED. but i kill them before even they reach. i cleaned the entire house after 2 weeks of applying it. and re apllied again... since i got the feeling that... this powder last it's power. this 3 pound pack comes for months and months and very reliable, unlike the sprays, which i used first, and just finshes in an hour or so. i hope it's available in walmart... i had to pay for shipping, which i hate to pay.
P.S. - Do not throw away your beds / sofas. this one works.
Update: i did second round of this product after 2 months of first application and kept it for about a month. then i cleaned my entire apartment. now it has been more than a month.... i do not see any sign of bed bug or any kind of bug. very effective.
