Capstar works great at killing adult fleas. It makes my cats a little wired as the fleas are dying, but dead and nearly dead fleas literally come up to the surface of the cat's coat and fall off. No more itchy fleas for my babies. I just wish this would kill more of the flea life cycle, but because it doesn't you may have to use it 2-3 times to get all of the fleas. I used this along with frontline plus drops, once weekly baths, frequent vacuuming and and doing laundry, and diatomaceous earth on some of their frequent spots, like their beds and cat trees.

Cats are almost one - they love to go outside but we get flees. I've tried all kinds of meds. Advantage (use to work on my other cat) etc. This Capstar pill works great. I give them half a pill after they go outside, every three days or if I see they are ichy. I try not to give them too much and I'll try the Advantage again too, but at first kittens are really magnets for flees and this pill is so great!
